The Can Xicoy project as it exists today began in 2009, when Ferran and Adrià returned to their grandparents’ family farm in Arenys de Munt.

First came the land, woodland and animal pens. Then the herd, cheesemaking training and the first trials. In time, the farm gained its own cheesemaking room and the process was brought back together in one place.
The land, the animals and the craft form a story that is lived every day on the farm.
